We started to operate in Izmir Karabaglar Furniture Industry Zone in 2015. As Ananas’ design team, we design pieces of furniture that can be used in different spaces for new living conditions. Our timeless design approach allows us to focus on user experience rather than style or form. From a single line on paper to final product, every single product or product line is shaped jointly by designers and artisans. Our experience; It continues to increase with the contributions of our highly trained designers, technicians and carpenters with high technical hand skills.
Co-Founder Cagdas Canturk
After graduating from the Department of Industrial Design at Izmir University of Economics with specialization in “Design Management,” Çağdaş Cantürk received his Master’s degree in Technology of Wood, Plastic and Textiles from Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia. He founded “Ananas” by combining his design education with the education he received on wood and furniture production technologies. He continues to engage in design and production activities at Ananas .
Co-Founder Altug Toprak
He graduated from the Department of Industrial Design at Izmir University of Economics in 2010. In 2012, he received his Master’s degree in design from Domus Academy. While pursuing his Master’s degree, he took part in design projects in industry-leading companies. Between 2013 and 2017, he designed street furniture and equipment and outdoor sports equipment for different user groups. After joining Ananas Mobilya A.Ş. as a co-founder in 2018, Altuğ Toprak continues to engage in design and production activities at Ananas.
