ABOUT US

Founded in 2015 by industrial designers Çağdaş Cantürk and Altuğ Toprak, Ananas is a woodworking workshop that adopts the principle of looking at the furniture industry from a new perspective, is perfectionist in design, sensitive in production, selective in materials, and has high design and production skills.

As the Ananas design team, we design and produce furniture that is suitable for new living conditions and can be used in different spaces. Our timeless design approach allows us to focus on user experience rather than style or form. From a single line on paper to the final product, each product or product group emerges through the joint work of designers and craftsmen. Our experience continues to increase with the work of our highly educated designers, technicians and highly skilled carpenters.

Founding Partner Altug Toprak

He graduated from Izmir University of Economics, Department of Industrial Design in 2010. He completed the Domus Academy in Design program in 2012. During his graduate education, he had the opportunity to take part in design projects in leading companies in the sector. Altuğ Toprak, who joined Ananas Mobilya A.Ş. as a founding partner in 2018, continues his design and production-oriented activities under the Ananas brand.

Founding Partner Cagdas Canturk

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Izmir University of Economics
Having graduated with the ''Design Management'' option program, Çağdaş Cantürk completed his master's degree in ''Wood and Plastic Production Technologies'' at Tallinn University of Technologies in Estonia. He combined his design education with the education he received on wood and furniture production technologies and founded the company ''Ananas Woodworking''.
