VSimilar + ANANAS

We wanted to share this enjoyable interview with the VBenzeri team with you. While the summary of the interview is on our blog, you can access the full interview via the link.
We hope you enjoy reading the answers to the questions from ANANAS, the team, the design and our products.
Can you tell us about ANANAS?
+ " We support our design knowledge with our manufacturing knowledge. With ANANAS, which we established with these solid foundations, we produce furniture, accessories and wooden products that are high quality, have design value, are useful, have a minimal philosophy and have a story, using the valuable material wood. " (VSimilar, Design, 09.10.2020)
How do you define 'Good Design'?
+ " We approach the needs we identify as 'design problems'. We offer the solution to these problems to the user with the products we design with the most natural materials, keeping simplicity and ergonomic requirements at the forefront. " (VSimilar, Design, 09.10.2020)
How does ANANAS approach sustainability?
+ " We are trying to turn waste into usable products with the waste and waste management we implement. We would like to see an increase in the number of furniture manufacturers who produce furniture with this awareness. This is a responsibility towards nature. " (VSimilar, Design, 09.10.2020)
What were the inspirations for your collection Docia? We are curious about the design and production process.
+ " The term Docia is a term that refers to the erosion of rock structures by winds over time. For example, the natural structures found in Cappadocia and Kuladocia are examples of Docia. We wanted to emphasize both the concept of time and durability. " (VSimilar, Design, 09.10.2020)
What would you like to say about wood craftsmanship, which is disappearing due to industrialization?
+ " As ANANAS, we use wood as it is in our furniture. We avoid panel materials mixed with chemicals. We produce original and quality furniture. While producing these furniture, we benefit from the carpentry experiences of our talented manufacturers who have received traditional carpentry training and have become apprentices, journeymen and masters respectively. TV units, media consoles, sideboards, multi-purpose coffee tables, tables, beds, cutting and presentation boards, trays and mirrors produced with intensive hand workmanship come out of ANANAS Workshop.
