Mavişehir House, Izmir '21
Gülaç Evi, located in İzmir Mavişehir, was designed by Design a Lot inspired by the Provence style. Provence style is an interior design belonging to the provincial parts of France. In addition to light colors such as white, sand and cream, light blue and green are the main colors of this style. If we look at the project from the perspective of Provence style. The wooden claddings at the entrance and living room walls of the house, kitchen cabinet doors, living room corner bookcase and skirting boards speak the same design language. In furniture where white lacquer is predominant, light blue was preferred for the kitchen bottom doors and the same tone of white lacquer was applied to the grid-formed rafters applied to the ceilings. Kitchen door handles, shelf limiters and portable brass ladders mounted on the library, designed with special handcraft for the space, attract attention with their workmanship and details. Modernized hub detail applications were made to all furniture doors and thus the design language of the house was integrated. At the same time, the cord and hub detail on the doors of the master bed, dressing cabinet and dressing table were prototyped in Ananas. In the children's rooms, desks and bunk beds were considered as a whole. The stairs and steps in the bunk bed were prototyped and produced with children's ergonomics in mind. Natural oak veneer was preferred for the step that allows access to the bunk bed and the desk top.
