IEU Graduation Project Exhibition

On June 13, 2024, we visited the graduation project exhibition of 4th year Industrial Design students. This exhibition was organized under the coordination of Can Özcan and Esra Bici Nasır. The projects that the students worked on throughout the year were exhibited in the exhibition and these projects in various categories attracted great attention. The students prepared graduation projects according to their own interests and the sector they planned to work in in the future. During this process, they received support from Izmir University of Economics course coordinators and at least one consultant from the sector to advance their projects. While some students received individual consultancy, some received consultancy services by working with companies. Receiving consultancy from the sector helped the students make their projects more realistic and manufacturable. Patent applications were also made among the designed products. Throughout the exhibition, our instructors from all faculties, our students, professionals from the sector and the families of the students participated and examined the projects and shared their ideas. This event provided a great opportunity for the students to showcase their creativity and technical skills and was very positively received by the participants.
