ANANAS Guided Young Designers

Recently, we participated in the Portfolio Evaluation event organized as part of the ID 3306 Portfolio Design course at Yaşar University as Ananas. In this event, guest groups from different sectors such as corporate, startup and independent brands took part and important details were conveyed to young designers so that they can make more conscious decisions in their career journeys.

Purpose and Content of the Event

The main purpose of the Portfolio Evaluation event is to evaluate students’ design portfolios from a professional perspective, helping them make a solid start in their careers. The corporate, startup and independent brands that participated in the event provided a broad perspective to young designers. While corporate representatives provided information about the design expectations and hiring processes of large companies, startup representatives shared their more flexible and innovative approaches. Independent brands provided important information about the advantages and difficulties of freelancing. This diversity helped students better understand different career paths and choose the one that best suits them.

As ANANAS, we also took part in this event and guided young designers. We shared information on the points to be considered during the portfolio preparation process and how to create an effective portfolio.

With the contributions of guests from different sectors and the guidance of ANANAS, students had the opportunity to take more conscious and prepared steps in their career journeys.
